Christopher H. is a skilled mental health professional with extensive experience in coordinating and facilitating research projects and direct counseling services. Currently serving as a Program Coordinator and External Mental Health Counsellor at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since June 2016, Christopher specializes in HIV research related to the mental and physical health of gay men and other men who have sex with men. In addition, Christopher is actively involved with Jewish Family Services, working on the Syrian Refugee Project and serving as a Social Skills Co-facilitator. Previous experience includes a role as a Child and Youth Counsellor at Kids Kare Agency, where Christopher developed and implemented behavioral programs and provided direct support to clients. Christopher holds a Master of Education in Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) from Carleton University.
