Forough Jahandideh is a clinical research associate at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since January 2023, focusing on the developmental effects of neonatal sepsis on the cardiovascular system within the framework of Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD). Previously, Forough served as a WCHRI Postdoctoral Fellow at the Women & Children's Health Research Institute from May 2021 to February 2023, and as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Alberta from January 2018 to April 2021, where research centered on hemodynamics and vascular function in a rodent model of bacterial sepsis. Forough completed a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology at the University of Alberta from 2012 to 2017, preceded by a Master of Science in Food Science and Engineering at the University of Tehran from 2008 to 2010.
