Guillaume Fontaine currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Implementation Science at McGill University and holds several key roles, including National Co-Lead of the Methods Think Tank for the CIHR Pan-Canadian Network for HIV and STBBI Clinical Trials Research and National Co-Lead of the Implementation Science Research Stream for the CIHR Canadian Network on Hepatitis C. Active in research, Fontaine is also an Affiliate Investigator at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Principal Investigator at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research. Prior to these positions, Fontaine was a Banting Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, focusing on implementation research. Education includes a postdoctoral fellowship in Implementation Science from UNSW and the University of Ottawa, as well as a PhD in Health Services Research from Université de Montréal. Early career experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
