Juan Li is a Senior Clinical Research Associate and Senior Methodologist I at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, specializing in identifying and predicting Parkinson’s disease through the assessment of the PREDIGT Score mathematical model. Prior to this, Juan served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University, where the development of TestGardener software for multiple choice examinations and psychological scales was accomplished, utilizing advanced algorithms in Functional Data Analysis and Item Response Theory. Juan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (Computer Application) from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
