Kate Dervin

Kate Dervin has a diverse background in research and healthcare, currently serving as a Research Screener at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since July 2021 and a Volunteer Research Assistant at CHEO focusing on Perinatal Palliative Care since September 2020. Kate has also contributed to various roles, including Research Interviewer at the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use and Instructor at Little Medical School - Ottawa, providing hands-on learning for children. Previous experience includes working as an Inpatient Clerk at The Ottawa Hospital, a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University, and multiple volunteer and customer service positions. Kate is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Ottawa, building on a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences/Biomedical Sciences from Carleton University.
