Liana Medynski

Liana Medynski is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and management within the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance Manager at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since January 2016, Liana oversees critical processes related to cGMP cleanroom manufacturing for sterile drug products, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Liana has also held the role of Interim Managing Director at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute Biotherapeutics Manufacturing Centre, where communication between senior leadership and team members was facilitated to align GMP requirements with research and development goals. Previous positions include roles at Pfizer and Coley Pharmaceutical Group, where Liana contributed as a Research Scientist and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Advisor, managing document control, conducting audits, and overseeing laboratory equipment calibration. Liana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Trent University.
