Khalid Bastawisy

Khalid Bastawisy is a Community Engagement Coordinator at Ottawa Public Health - Santé publique Ottawa. Prior to that, Khalid worked as a COVID-19 Site Facilitator/Screener at Carleton University and volunteered at The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County's "Make A Connection, Take A Break" Virtual Care Program. Khalid has also experience as a Sales Associate at Hudson's Bay, a Youth Mentor at Youth Futures | Avenir Jeunesse, and an Office Assistant at Bruyère. Khalid is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health, Science, Technology, and Policy (HSTP) at Carleton University, having already completed a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Chronic Illness & Disability at the same institution.
