Ryan Furuness

Ryan Furuness has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ryan is currently working as a Public Health Program and Project Management Officer at Ottawa Public Health - Santé publique Ottawa since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Ottawa Public Health in various roles including Project Officer and Application Support Specialist from 1992 to 2021. In these positions, they managed projects, developed performance management reports, and designed health inspection work area distribution programs. From 1992 to 2009, Ryan worked as a Paramedic. Ryan also served as an Operations Manager at Rural Metro Ambulance Service from 1998 to 2001.

Ryan Furuness pursued their education with a focus on business and healthcare. In 1991, they attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they earned a Diploma/Certificate in Paramedics. Following this, in the years 2018 to 2021, Ryan enrolled at Athabasca University.
