Jim Clark

Professional Scout at Ottawa Senators

Jim Clark is the current Chief Professional Scout for the Ottawa Senators. Prior to this, they were with the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club from July 2008 to August 2014 as a Pro Scout. Before that, they were with the Columbus Blue Jackets from July 1998 to July 2008 as VP and Assistant General Manager. In this role, they were responsible for budget development and management, contract research and negotiation, minor league management and development, HR oversight, and player evaluation.

Jim Clark graduated from Summerside High School and went on to study at Mount Allison University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree.

Jim Clark reports to Pierre Dorion, General Manager. They work with Tim Pattyson - Director of Hockey Operations, Mikko Ruutu - Chief European Scout, and Trent Mann - Chief Amateur Scout.
