Emily MacKey

Emily Mackey is a Business and Major Events Researcher at Ottawa Tourism, responsible for developing the ThinkOttawa Program and enhancing Ottawa's international tourism profile through event hosting. Previously, Emily served as an Education Professional at Astolot Educational Centre, focusing on engaging neurodiverse students, and as an Educational Support Specialist at Wiley, where specialized support during the pandemic was provided to Canadian universities and colleges. Emily has also worked as a Writing Consultant at Toronto Metropolitan University, aiding students in improving their writing skills, and held roles in data analysis and research at various organizations, including Architectural Conservancy Ontario and Library and Archives Canada. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Fashion Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Toronto.
