Joey Swarbrick

Joey Swarbrick is a seasoned professional in the sports and events management industry, currently serving as the Manager, Major Events & Sport at Ottawa Tourism since April 2024. Previously, Joey held various roles at Football Canada, including Interim Director, Sport, and Manager, Events and Competitions. With experience as a Project Coordinator at Export Development Canada, Joey provided comprehensive administrative support to the Compliance & Ethics department. Notably, Joey spent eight years at the Ottawa RedBlacks, advancing from Football Operations Intern to Assistant Director, Football Operations & Scout, managing significant aspects of team operations and budgets. Education includes a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Studies from the University of Regina.
