Richard Tasker

Richard Tasker has a comprehensive work experience spanning various companies and roles. Richard currently serves as the Director of Product Management at Otter.ai since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Product for Notiv and Dubber from 2019 to 2022. At Notiv, they were responsible for product management and also served as a growth advisor. At Axway, they held the positions of Director of Product Management - Analytics Strategy and Director of Product Management, leading product strategies and cross-functional collaborations. Richard also worked as a Principal Product Manager at Syncplicity by Axway, where they managed strategic projects and ensured the delivery of features. Before that, they held the role of Director of Product Management at Oracle, spearheading the development of a charging product and increasing release frequency. Richard also worked as a Principal Sales Consultant at Oracle, leading bid responses and promoting collaboration within the sales consulting group. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Dev-Audio, Atos Origin, Portal Software, and SchlumbergerSema, undertaking responsibilities such as market development, team leadership, solution architecture, technical consulting, and software development.

Richard Tasker completed their education at the University of Liverpool from 2004 to 2007, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended the University of Cape Town from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, in May 2020, Richard obtained certifications from Product School's ProductCon Workshops.
