Krishna Janakiraman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields. Krishna is currently working at Ottimate as the VP of Engineering since October 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Head of Data Science and Engineering at Ottimate from August 2015 until October 2021. Before Ottimate, Krishna worked as a Senior Data Engineer at BandPage (Acquired by Google) from December 2012 to August 2015. Krishna also worked at Sprint Nextel as a Research Software Engineer in the Advanced Analytics Labs from July 2011 to November 2012. Prior to this, Krishna was a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley from August 2009 to May 2011. Krishna started their career at Sun Microsystems as a Member Technical Staff from February 2005 to July 2009. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies from July 2004 to February 2005. Krishna also had a research internship at AU KBC Research Centre from June 2003 to June 2004.

Krishna Janakiraman earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics from the University of Madras, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree at the University of California, Berkeley's School of Information from 2009 to 2011.
