Prior to this, Krishna was a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley from August 2009 to May 2011. Krishna started their career at Sun Microsystems as a Member Technical Staff from February 2005 to July 2009. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies from July 2004 to February 2005. Krishna also had a research internship at AU KBC Research Centre from June 2003 to June 2004.
Krishna Janakiraman earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics from the University of Madras, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree at the University of California, Berkeley's School of Information from 2009 to 2011.
