Paul Touw has a long and varied career in the technology and aviation industries. Paul began their career in 1989 as a Senior Analyst at AEC-ABLE Engineering Co., where they were responsible for finite element analyses, engineering computations, and computer simulations of mechanical systems. In 1991, they joined Rasna Corporation as an Applications Engineer and was later promoted to a field sales position. In 1995, they became the Director of Business Development at Open Market, Inc. Following this, they co-founded Ariba, Inc. in 1996, where they served as the Executive Vice President of Strategy. In 2003, they founded XOJET, Inc. and served as its Chairman and CEO. In 2011, they became Chairman and CEO of Icix, Inc. In 2014, they co-founded Stellar Labs, Inc. and served as its CEO and Chairman. In 2019, they joined the U.S. Department of State as a Senior Advisor and Chief Strategy Officer. In 2021, they became the Senior Vice President at Criteo, and in 2022, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of Otto Aviation.
Paul Touw obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Physics & Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Pacific between 1983 and 1987. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Introductory Robotic Process Automation from LinkedIn in January 2019.
