David Cozad

David Cozad is a skilled marine engineering professional with experience in engine room operations and ship repairs. Currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at Otto Candies, LLC since July 2022, Cozad is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of engine room machinery and systems on the Tucker Candies OSV. Previous roles include a Technical Intern at BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair Inc., where Cozad assisted in ship repair planning and management of trade workers. Cozad also has experience as an Engine Cadet with Maersk Line, Limited on multiple container ships and a roll-on roll-off vessel, focusing on the maintenance and repair of engine room systems. Cozad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
