Brian Raphael

Brian Raphael is the current Chief Financial Officer at Otus. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at ProCFO Partners from July 2021 to July 2022. Brian has also been the Chief Financial Officer at Otus from September 2019 to July 2021, and Regional Director/Partner at The CFO Center Limited from September 2016 to September 2019.

Brian has vast experience in financial leadership and consulting, and has helped numerous small and midsized businesses reach their financial goals. Brian is highly experienced in transaction services, financial diligence, post transaction & integration, carve outs (buy side & sell side), prep for exit, interim executives & executive search, CFO, controller, FP&A director, preparation for audit, and financial systems & software transitions.

Some of Brian's key engagements include acting as a CFO consultant and advisor at a $65m SaaS company, interim CFO at an $80m outdoor advertising company, conducting a 'deep dive' assessment of finance function at a $60m direct marketing/wholesale distributor, and conducting a comprehensive finance assessment at a $35m professional services firm.

Brian Raphael is a student at Baruch College, where they are studying business administration and accounting. After they graduate from college, they plan to work as an accountant.

Brian Raphael reports to Chris Hull, Chief Product Officer. They work with Beth Blafka - Director of Marketing, Mariano Gonzalez - Data/Platform Architect, and Eric Patnoudes - Director of Strategic Initiatives.
