Petri Hoppu

Petri Hoppu is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as a Principal Lecturer at Oulu University of Applied Sciences since January 2016 and as an Adjunct Professor (docent) at Tampere University since January 2019. Previously, Petri held the position of Adjunct Professor (docent) at the University of Tampere from November 2010 to December 2018, specializing in dance studies. Petri Hoppu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from the University of Tampere, where studies were undertaken from 1986 to 1999.
