Guillaume Paugam has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2004, they started as an Assistant Journalist at The Mainichi Newspapers. Guillaume then transitioned to academia and worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor of French at the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2009, and at Miami University from 2009 to 2014. In 2014, they shifted gears to a technical support role and joined WhereToLive.com, Inc. as a Technical Support Representative until 2018. From 2017 to 2018, they also briefly held the position of Senior Technical Support Representative and Client Support Mentor at Lone Wolf Technologies. In 2019, they joined Sezzle as a Software Engineer and worked there until November 2021. Currently, they are working as a React Engineer at OurFamilyWizard starting from December 2021. Additionally, Guillaume has been freelancing as a Full Stack Developer since 2018, specializing in building lean web apps using various frameworks and technologies.

Guillaume Paugam has a diverse education history. In 1997, they obtained an Associate's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the Marketing Academy in London. Guillaume continued with their studies and received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from the Université Rennes 2 in 2000. Paugam then pursued a higher level of education and enrolled at EHESS - Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. From 2000 to 2008, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Philosophy at EHESS. During this period, they also obtained a second PhD in Philosophy from the same institution from 2004 to 2008. In 2018, Paugam attended the University of Minnesota's Coding Bootcamp, where they participated in a Full Stack Web Development program and earned a Full Stack Web Development Certificate.
