Raghib Ali OBE has a diverse and extensive work history. In 2022, they joined Our Future Health UK as Chief Medical Officer. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Cambridge starting in 2020 as a Clinical Epidemiologist. In the same year, they also became an Associate Fellow at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford. From 2014, Raghib served as a Research Professor at New York University Abu Dhabi and as the Director and Principal Investigator of the Public Health Research Center. Raghib gained experience in the field of Acute Medicine as an Honorary Consultant Physician at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust starting in 2009. Additionally, Raghib held various roles at the University of Oxford, including Visiting Research Fellow, Clinical Epidemiologist, and Director of the INDOX Cancer Research Network. Raghib has also been actively involved at Green-Templeton College, as an Associate Fellow and Richard Doll Medical Tutorial Fellow. Raghib's expertise extends to public health, as they served as an Honorary Consultant at the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities.
Raghib Ali OBE has a comprehensive education history that spans several prestigious institutions. Raghib first attended the University of Cambridge from 1994 to 2000, where they obtained a MA MB BCHir degree in Medicine. Continuing their educational journey, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Population health at the University of Oxford from 2010 to 2011. Raghib furthered their medical expertise by attending the Royal College of Physicians in London in 2014, where they acquired a FRCP degree in Medicine. From 2009 to 2016, they enrolled at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, earning an MPH MSc DLSHTM degree in Public Health and Epidemiology. Lastly, starting in 2016 until 2020, Raghib Ali OBE pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Epidemiology at the University of Cambridge.
