Morgan Butler

Morgan Butler is a dedicated program manager with extensive experience in nonprofit arts education and community involvement. Currently serving as the School-Based Program Manager at Our Minds Matter since February 2022, Morgan oversees the implementation of programs in school settings and fosters relationships with school partners in the DMV area. Previous roles include Program Manager and Program Coordinator at The Platform of Hope, where responsibilities involved organizing databases, tracking team goals, and supporting executive reporting. Morgan has also held positions with Youth Speaks, directing poetry programs and mentoring young leaders, and CulturalDC as a Gallery Assistant, ensuring volunteer coordination and communication. A background in arts education and social justice has been reinforced through various roles, including as a Performance Teaching Artist with SPLIT THIS ROCK INC and as part of leadership cohorts aimed at promoting equity in the arts. Morgan holds a Certificate for Rehabilitation and Substance Abuse Counseling from Northern Virginia Community College.
