Cecile O'Meara

Cecile O'Meara has accumulated extensive experience in youth development and childcare, currently serving as a Youth Development Specialist at Our Piece of the Pie since May 2022, where responsibilities include serving as a primary youth contact and coordinating individual service strategies. Prior experience includes roles as a Child Care Trainee at Child Development Laboratories, leading preschool activities, and as a Summer Nutrition Programs Intern at End Hunger Connecticut!, promoting nutrition programs. O'Meara has also worked as a Museum Assistant at the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry, handling visitor interactions and social media, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, coding transcripts related to PANS/PANDAS. Additional early roles include an internship at Madison Youth and Family Services and positions at Circle Pizza Restaurant, where customer service skills were developed. Cecile O'Meara earned a degree from the University of Connecticut and completed secondary education at Daniel Hand High School.
