Our Place of New Trier Township
Julie Hank is currently a Program Leader at Our Place of New Trier since October 2022. Prior to this, Julie worked as a Wellness Specialist at Marcfirst from May 2021 to May 2022. Julie also served as an Intern at The Workout Company in Normal from January 2021 to April 2021, where Julie developed workout plans for seniors and managed social media content. Julie previously worked as a Sales Associate at Nike Factory Store from September 2018 to December 2020. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Illinois State University.
Our Place of New Trier Township
The mission of Our Place of New Trier Township is to support teens and adults with developmental disabilities so that they can live meaningful, productive, socially connective lives in their home community. The primary goal is to ensure that participants develop the skills and gain the experiences they need to live independently, as fully engaged citizens. We base our programs from a church community center in the heart of Wilmette, but our real program site is the community, with over 70% of activities are offered in community centers, alongside local residents.
