Daniel Chae

Daniel Chae is an experienced industrial designer with a diverse background in product development and design across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Industrial Designer at Our Place since August 2022, Daniel also runs a freelance design practice, providing services to notable clients such as Sweetgreen and Jenna Lyons’ Loveseen. Previous roles include Industrial Design Manager at Petco and Industrial Designer positions at iFIT, sweetgreen, HCT Group, U Brands, MeadWestvaco, and internships at Finell Co. and Amherst Inc. Daniel specializes in concept ideation, 3D CAD modeling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions for various brands, with a strong foundation in industrial and product design, backed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
