Shiza Shahid

Shiza Shahid is the co-founder and CEO of Our Place, a social enterprise that provides access to clean water and sanitation to people in need. Prior to Our Place, they were the co-founder and CEO of by Humankind, a social enterprise that makes sustainable personal care products.

Shahid has also worked with Brud, a venture capital firm focused on technology and social impact investments, and NOW.Ventures, an accelerator for early-stage startups. In addition, Shahid served as the Pakistan Country Director for the Malala Fund, where they worked to increase access to education for girls in Pakistan.

Before their work in the social sector, Shahid worked as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company, where they advised clients on strategy and transformation in the telecom, energy, and banking industries in the Middle East.

Shiza Shahid graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
