Carrie Louis-Ferdinand is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Teacher at Farber Hebrew Day School and a Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Our Shepherd Lutheran School since 2018. With a strong background in lesson plan development and authentic assessment strategies, Carrie has also engaged in freelance writing and editorial services since 2005, contributing articles to blogs and providing editing services to schools and businesses. In addition to a brief role as a substitute teacher with EDUStaff, LLC, Carrie has experience as a graduate assistant at Oakland University, supporting the editorial process for The Oakland Journal. Carrie holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Oakland University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in the same field.
