Jill Warren Lucas

Jill Warren Lucas has extensive experience in communications and marketing, currently serving as a Communications and Marketing Volunteer at Dorcas Ministries since August 2023. Lucas has contributed as a writer for several publications, including Carolina Alumni Review, Our State Magazine, and Edible Piedmont, since 2013. Previous roles include Communications Director for the Office of State Human Resources in North Carolina and Public Information Officer for the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, where responsibilities included managing air quality communications. Lucas also held positions as Communications Officer for the North Carolina Division of Emergency Management, facilitating communications during Hurricane Matthew, and Communications Manager at Southern Season, overseeing content planning and public relations. Lucas holds a BA in English from Case Western Reserve University.
