Rebecca Woltz

Rebecca Woltz is a professional writer with extensive experience in journalism and engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Writer for Our State Magazine since January 2022, Rebecca focuses on celebrating North Carolina's culture, history, and beauty. Prior to this role, Rebecca was an Editorial Intern at the same magazine, where responsibilities included writing feature articles and assisting with editorial tasks. Rebecca has also contributed as a Features Writer for The Warren Record, focusing on travel destinations, and held engineering positions at Wiley|Wilson and Burns & McDonnell, where technical writing played a key role. Academically, Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with an Ecology Concentration from the same institution, along with studies at Florida International University.
