Michael A. Chapp

Michael A. Chapp is the current COO at Oura Ring. Prior to their current position, Chapp served as an advisor for EcoFlow from November 2017 to January 2019. Michael also has experience as a board member, serving on the board of directors for Utomic from February 2014 to December 2019. Chapp was also the COO/CFO for Lupoli Companies from June 2012 to September 2013. Michael has also worked as a process and design engineer for General Motors from January 1997 to December 1999.

Michael A. Chapp has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and is a MIT Sloan Fellow in Innovation and Global Leadership. Michael also has an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where they did research in the Nanoengineering Laboratory. Michael A. Chapp also spent time studying in Aachen, Germany at RWTH Aachen University, where they researched in the fields of Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering. Michael has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, where they did research in Biomedical and Materials Science. In addition to their engineering degrees, Michael A. Chapp has also completed graduate education in Leadership and Management from UC San Diego, and Executive Management Development for Entrepreneurs from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
