Kobe Rogers

Kobe Rogers is the Co-Founder and COO of Ourobio, a synthetic biology and circular economy company. At Ourobio, they are involved in the development of engineered microorganisms to convert industrial byproducts into low-footprint additives for the chemicals/materials and CPG industries. Their role also includes the production of bio-based, biodegradable products without affecting farmland for food production. Prior to Ourobio, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Virginia and as a Guest Assistant at 2 Silos Brewing Co.

Kobe Rogers attended the University of Virginia from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry (B.S) and also completed a minor in Spanish.
