Sonya Sepahban

Sonya Sepahban is the CEO and Co-Founder of OurOffice Inc., a company that provides genome interpretation and analysis software for clinical diagnostics and academic research in cancer and other genetic diseases. Prior to OurOffice, Sepahban served on the Board of Directors for Genomenon and was a member of the Investment Committee for Michigan Angel Fund.

Sepahban has always been interested in helping others and making a difference in the world. Sonya saw an opportunity to do just that when they co-founded OurOffice. “Our mission is to make it easy for everyone to find and use the latest genomic discoveries to improve patient care,” they say.

So far, the company has been a success, raising over $3 million in seed funding from investors such as Michigan Angel Fund, BlueTree Allied Angels, and Huron River Ventures.

Sonya Sepahban is a chemical engineer who has also studied political science and economics. Sonya has a master's degree in bio-chemical engineering from Rice University, and an MBA in business administration and management from the University of Houston. Sonya is also certified by SHRM as a SHRM Recertification Provider.
