Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain and commodity management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Commodity Management at Ouster since November 2022, Richard leads initiatives to deliver top-tier LiDAR solutions to a global clientele. Prior to this, Richard was the Head of Supply Chain at Quanergy, where responsibilities included overseeing S&OP management, inventory, cost management, and logistics for LIDAR products. Previous roles include Senior Director of Supply Chain Management at Lumentum, focusing on aligning supply chain initiatives with corporate strategies, and Vice President of Materials at Western Digital, where leadership was provided for global procurement and manufacturing operations. Richard’s career began as Director of Process Technical Support at PCOM. Educationally, Richard attended Mission College from 1994 to 2002.
