Erin Pellegrino

Erin Pellegrino's work experience includes being a Principal at Matter. since August 2015. In 2018, they became a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Out of Architecture. Erin also holds the position of Professor of Practice at NJIT Hillier College of Architecture and Design since May 2023, and has been an Adjunct Faculty member since August 2018. Erin was a Visiting Lecturer at Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning starting in January 2018, and a Visiting Critic from January 2017 to May 2018. Erin is currently an Advisor at aec+tech, and is also the Director of Strategy and Venture Capital at Paddock Capital Markets as of August 2021. Erin has held roles such as Designer in Residence at Newark Venture Partners from February 2018 to January 2022, Head of Design at Designity from May 2018 to October 2018, and a Design Team Member at Studio Gang from March 2017 to July 2017. Prior to that, they were a Designer at Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects from May 2016 to March 2017.

Erin Pellegrino has a diverse educational background. Erin began their education at Communications High School, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Erin then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Architecture at Cornell University from 2009 to 2014. During this time, Erin also focused on Design Thinking and Furniture Design as part of their studies.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Erin furthered their education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. From 2014 to 2016, they earned a Master's degree in Architecture II, specializing in Design. Seeking to expand their skills beyond architecture, Erin attended the Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2016, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

In addition to their formal education, Erin has obtained certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) in May 2023. This certification demonstrates their proficiency in the field of architecture. Furthermore, they are an Architect certified by the State of Massachusetts, although the specific details of this certification are not provided.
