Gurudev Karanth has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2004, they served as the CTO and Co-Founder of Regalix, overseeing both the R&D and Client Application teams and positioning the company as a thought leader in digital marketing. In 2006, they joined eBay as an Experimentation Expert and Digital Analytics Specialist, where they established the experimentation practice and enabled mobile experimentation. Gurudev also co-created targeting models and activity-based propensity models for advertising and search platforms. In 2013, Gurudev worked at PayPal as a Tracking and Experimentation Consultant, leading an audit strategy and helping define a go-to-market strategy for tracking infrastructure. Gurudev then held roles at BeOnPower Inc, Maximizad, and Naspers Limited before founding their own company, Intulog, in 2008. At Intulog, they served as Founder and Principal. From 2015 to 2020, Gurudev worked at Target, initially as a Product Owner and later as Senior Director, leading a data science and analytics team and driving the adoption of self-serve data collection and testing products. Most recently, they co-founded Out of the Blue in 2021, serving as CEO and Co-Founder.

From 1992 to 1996, Gurudev Karanth attended Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
