Robert Piro

Robert Piro has extensive work experience in the field of data science and computer science. Robert is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist and ML Engineer at Outbound AI since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at MultiScale Health Networks from July 2017 to February 2022. Robert also served as a Research Scientist at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford from January 2015 to July 2017, and as a Research Assistant from October 2011 to December 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Developer at BHF-BANK for a brief period in 2001 and as a Clerk in the Car Management of Battalion 292, French-German-Brigade in Bundeswehr (German Military) from 1997 to 1998. Robert pursued their Ph.D. in Computer Science as a student at the University of Liverpool from October 2008 to October 2011.

Robert Piro has a diverse education history. Robert started their academic journey in 1990 at the Bertha-von-Suttner-Schule in Moerfelden-Walldorf, Germany. Robert completed their A-Levels equivalent degree there, focusing on Mathematics, Politics, French, and Music, in 1997. After finishing school, Robert pursued an apprenticeship with BHF-Bank from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a certification as a CC-certified Banker.

In 2000, Robert enrolled at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics. Robert studied at the university for eight years, completing their degree in 2008. During this time, they attained a Master equivalent "Diplom" as their degree.

After completing their Master's degree, Robert moved to the University of Liverpool in 2008 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science. Robert successfully completed their PhD program in 2011.

Additionally, in 2017, Robert obtained a certification in "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera Course Certificates.
