Kelly Johnston Pharm D MBA has diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and marketing industries. Kelly currently serves as the Founder & CEO of Explain It Media since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Marketing and Content Development at OutboundView from June 2018. Kelly also has a background as a Pharmacist, having worked at Lincoln Regional Center from January 2010 to June 2018, Four Star Drug from July 2009 to February 2010, and Heartland Pharmacy from March 2008 to July 2009.

Kelly Johnston obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) degree from Creighton University in 2007. Concurrently, they also completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Creighton University during the same time period.
