Ziv Barak is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and R&D management. Currently serving as R&D Director at Outbrain since July 2013, Ziv has contributed to developing a leading content recommendation platform. Prior experience includes leadership roles at VMware as a Team Leader for the ITBM SaaS team and a Senior Software Engineer, where Ziv built a user management SaaS application. Ziv also held positions at HP Software as a System Architect and Technical Lead, responsible for the design and architecture of major components within the BSM Applications Group. Early career experience at Mercury Interactive as a Software Engineer involved Java development for a monitoring solution. Ziv holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
