Kent Hub

Kent Hub has over seven years of experience working in the foster care industry. Kent began their career at The Fostering Network, where they served as Chair of the London IFA Forum. In this role, Kent was responsible for overseeing 50 fostering agencies and ensuring that they adhered to current industry trends and issues. Kent also sat on the National Steering Group for the Fostering Network, which had a direct impact on practice throughout the UK.

In 2013, Kent became the Group Manager at Next Step Fostering. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic overview of the company and took the lead for the Senior Management Team. Kent was also responsible for ensuring the development of the staff and Foster Carers. Under their management, Next Step Fostering was rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in October 2017.

Currently, Kent serves as a Hub at Outcomes First Group. In this role, they are responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, including managing a team of social workers, developing care plans, and liaising with local authorities.

They work with Dickens Hub - Hub, Eden Hub - Hub, and Nightingale Hub - Hub. Kent Hub reports to Dr Alyce McCourt, Educational Psychologist.
