Doug Nystrom

Doug Nystrom is the Head of Corporate Responsibility at Outdoor Cap Company, where responsibilities include overseeing compliance, sustainability, ethical sourcing, and supplier accountability since June 2025. Previously, Nystrom served as a Senior Advisor and Associate Director for North America at Impactt, focusing on strategic business and human rights consulting from February 2023 to June 2025. From 2013 to February 2023, Nystrom held multiple leadership roles at Walmart, including Director of ESG Strategy & Engagement, managing strategic plans related to ethics, human rights, supply chain issues, and COVID-19 response. Nystrom's earlier experience includes practicing law, serving as an Attorney at Doug Nystrom, Attorney at Law, and fulfilling roles such as CFO/Corporate Counsel at Retail Capital Group and VP of Finance & Administration at Children First America. Educational credentials include a JD in International Law from the University of Georgia School of Law, a BBA in Accounting & Finance from Baylor University, and an MDiv in Ethics & Philosophy from Westminster Theological Seminary.
