Mario Cortes has extensive experience in the brewing industry, having held various positions from Cellarman to Head Brewer across multiple breweries, including Harpoon Brewery, Devil's Canyon Brewing Company, and Henhouse Brewing Company. Notably, Mario has served as the Owner Head Brewer at Here Today Brewery & Kitchen from June 2019 to March 2024, and is currently the Head Brewer at Barebottle Brewing Company and a Keyholder at Outerknown. Prior to entering the brewing field, Mario gained managerial experience as a Supervisor at Costco Wholesale and as a Packaging Supervisor at Karbach Brewing Co. Mario holds an Associate's degree in Sociology from San Antonio College and has completed additional training at General Assembly in 2025.
