Christopher Racster

Christopher Racster is an accomplished nonprofit and media arts consultant with extensive experience in leadership roles within the film industry, particularly in LGBTQ arts organizations. Currently serving as the Interim Executive Director at Outfest since November 2023 and a Co-Chair on the Advisory Council for IndieCollect, Racster has a notable history of enhancing organizational stability and development strategies. Other key positions include serving on the Board of Directors for FREE THE WORK and the North American Queer Festival Alliance, and previously as the Executive Director of Outfest, where significant programming and audience growth were achieved. Racster's educational background includes a B.A. in Film and Media Studies from Arizona State University and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
