Kai Young

Kai Young has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and operations field. Starting in 1988, Kai worked for IBM as a Marketing Programs Support, and then joined Price Waterhouse as a Junior Consultant in the Tax Technology Group. From 1992 to 1997, Kai worked for Time Warner Inc. as an IT Manager. In 1997, Kai joined Carat as an IT Director, where they integrated acquired companies' IT support team and infrastructure. Kai then moved to MindShare as a Partner and IT Director, where they built a high-performance IT infrastructure. In 2004, Kai joined GroupM as a Senior Partner and IT Director for North America, where they managed a team of 40 IT professionals and implemented cost-saving measures. From 2010 to 2012, Kai worked for WPP as a Senior Partner and IT Director, where they managed the construction of a shared Tier-3 Data Center. Kai then returned to GroupM in 2012 as the Director of Global Operations, Americas, leading operations turnarounds and driving improvements in IT service delivery. From 2015 to 2019, Kai worked for IBM as an Account Portfolio Manager and then as a Regional Service Delivery Manager, focusing on customer satisfaction and service improvement. Finally, in 2020, Kai joined OUTFRONT Media as the Vice President, Service Delivery Manager, overseeing the development of enterprise service offerings.

Kai Young graduated from the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Management. In 2007, Kai completed Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training at Young & Rubicam. In 2006, Kai received training in ISO 27001 at GroupM. Additionally, Kai obtained a certificate in Creating a World Wide Web Server from New York University, and completed training in Project Management and Microsoft Project from SkillPath.

In terms of additional certifications, Kai obtained the AWS Professional Solutions Architect 2020: Account & Centralized Management certification from Skillsoft in April 2020, and the AWS Professional Solutions Architect 2020: AWS Management certification from Skillsoft in March 2020. Kai also obtained the IBM Agile Explorer certification from IBM in October 2019, and the IBM Certified Agile Advocate certification, also from IBM, in October 2019.
