Sarah Barcelos

Sarah Barcelos has a diverse range of work experience in graphic design. Sarah started their career at Cherry Blossoms in Winter as a Graphic Design Intern, where they designed materials for a multimedia art project. Sarah then worked as a Graphic Designer at Design Consortium, providing design solutions for clients in the Newark community. Sarah also served as the Creative Director at Scarlet Magazine, managing the creative team and designing page layouts for the university publication.

In addition, Sarah worked as a Graphic Designer at Express Newark, collaborating with a team to design a brand identity system and produce various design materials. Sarah further expanded their skills as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Artist, creating commissioned artwork and designing items such as logos, flyers, and posters for different organizations and clients.

Most recently, Sarah worked at OUTFRONT Media as a Senior Graphic Designer. In this role, they collaborated with Account Executives and Clients to create engaging out-of-home content. Sarah was responsible for creating print and digital designs for local, regional, and national contracts, and managing creative jobs while maintaining creative integrity.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated strong design skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to meeting deadlines while maintaining creative integrity.

From the years 2012 to 2017, Sarah Barcelos attended Rutgers University - Newark, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design.
