Alan L.

Alan L. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Alan is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Outfund, where they assumed the role in December 2019. Prior to that, Alan worked at CreditDigital from January 2018 to December 2019 as the Head of Product. In this role, they led a product team in developing and delivering a digital finance platform for B2B transactions across different industries.

Before their role at CreditDigital, Alan worked at PolicyStore GmbH as a Product Manager from June 2016 to March 2017. This role started as an MBA summer internship and was extended into a 6-month consulting contract. Alan conducted market analysis and user testing to create and groom a product backlog for a digital compliance solution catering to pharmaceutical companies.

Alan also has experience in the legal field, working as a Legal Consultant at various firms including Allen & Overy, Slaughter and May, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and Epiq Systems. Alan'sresponsibilities included collaborating with legal teams, analyzing and coding data for litigation matters, and providing advice on commercial disputes.

Prior to their legal career, Alan served in the New Zealand Defense Force as a Lieutenant in the Army. Alan mentored a team of soldiers, led training exercises, and managed annual unit training programs.

Additionally, Alan has experience as a professional musician, signing as a recording artist with Avex Trax. Alan released two albums and performed on tours at various venues.

Alan L. has a diverse education history. Alan pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Law + Arts (conjoint) at The University of Auckland, attending from 1999 to 2008. In 2008, they furthered their legal studies by obtaining a Certificate in Professional Legal Studies from The College of Law Australia.

In 2015, Alan L. decided to expand their knowledge in business and enrolled at IESE Business School. Alan completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and General Management, graduating in 2017.
