Angel P.

Angel P. has a diverse work experience starting from 2008. They began their career as a SCADA engineer at Telvent, where they worked on SCADA systems using .NET technologies. They then moved on to UBS Investment Bank as an Analyst Developer in the Credit Derivatives Department, focusing on Python and C#.NET development. Following this, Angel joined LCH.Clearnet as an Oracle Coherence Analyst Developer, participating in the development of a high-throughput FX data warehouse system.

Afterward, Angel worked at Sportingbet as an Oracle Coherence Analyst Developer, where they were involved in the migration and analysis of business models for the implementation of a distributed cache system. They also worked at Excelian as a Consultant in the Technical Division.

Angel then joined Unicredit Global Information Services as an Oracle Coherence Analyst and Platform Symphony support specialist, where they provided migration support and worked on Platform Symphony 5.

Next, Angel joined Sportingbet again, this time as a DevOps engineer, responsible for Oracle Coherence middleware support, Coherence infrastructure and application review, and deployment of new clusters.

In 2014, Angel took a gap year and embarked on a solo motorcycle trip from England to Cambodia, covering 27,000 kms in 11 months.

Most recently, Angel joined Outfund as a Senior Backend Developer in 2022.

Angel P. has a strong education background in Computer Engineering. In 2002, they began their studies at the University of Seville, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Computer Engineering. Angel completed this program in 2006. Following this, Angel enrolled at Cranfield University in 2007 and completed a Master of Science degree in Grid Computing & E-Engineering in 2008. Angel returned to the University of Seville during this time and completed a second Bachelor of Science degree in Superior Computer Engineering. It is unknown if they completed this program before or after their Master's degree. In terms of certifications, Angel obtained several additional qualifications. In 2011, they became an IBM/Platform Symphony Certified Administrator (PSCA) through IMB/Platform Computing.
