Joshua serves as the Director of Youth Emergency Services for OUTMemphis. The Director of Youth Emergency Services leads the programs and services of the OUTMemphis Youth Housing Program, including overseeing the Youth Emergency Center (YEC), the overnight shelter, rapid re-housing program, transitional/emergency housing, and allocation of emergency resources for youth 18-25 years old experiencing housing instability.

Josh is a native Memphian and has lived in Mississippi for a large part of his life as well. He comes to OUTMemphis following a career in the public school system as an educator. In his years, Josh got to see firsthand how Queer youth issues often times go ignored. Serving the OUTMemphis team in this capacity is a way to be able to address queer youth issues more openly, therefore providing a faster solution. Josh is ecstatic to be a part of this team and all the great work they do.
