Ronnie Karimnia

Metamorphosis Project Youth Advocate at OUTMemphis

Ronnie is a Youth Advocate for The Metamorphosis Project, his duties include assisting with daily operations at the Youth Emergency Center, helping youth connect to drop-in services, and supporting all youth participants of The Metamorphosis Project. He is passionate about serving the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and advocating for their rights. Growing up as a queer person, Ronnie understands how impactful having resources such as social support, housing, and health support can be for queer people. Ronnie feels that OUTMemphis provides invaluable services to the local community here in the Mid-South and is very glad to be a part of providing said services. When Ronnie isn’t working at the YEC, he enjoys sewing, making art, going to drag shows, and working on his small business.
