Juha-Matti Pesonen

Juha-Matti Pesonen has extensive experience in the field of industrial digitalization and quality improvement, currently serving as the Director of IT Operations Solutions at Outokumpu since January 2011. Key roles at Outokumpu include Head of Operations Solutions and Head of Industrial Digitalization, focusing on enhancing the company's digital strategy at the Tornio factory. Earlier positions involved quality-related projects, including Quality Development Engineer and Quality Technical Specialist, where Juha-Matti coordinated quality improvement initiatives and enhanced reporting systems. Prior to Outokumpu, Juha-Matti worked at Moventas as a Production Designer and Production Planner following the establishment of a new factory. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu, coupled with practical experience in project management and production design research.
