Juho Talonen

Juho Talonen is a seasoned professional in the field of product program management and research and development, currently serving as Head of Product Program Management and Head of Program Management R&D and Product Definitions at Outokumpu since September 2021. Juho Talonen also holds the position of Authorized Representative at the Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation, overseeing the daily management of the Steel and Metal Producers' Fund since August 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager focusing on intellectual property and corporate R&D at Outokumpu, as well as progressing through various R&D positions within the company from 2007 to 2020. Juho Talonen's academic background includes a D.Sc. in Material Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, complemented by research experience at Helsinki University of Technology, where involvement in EU-funded projects contributed to advancements in stainless steel applications in automotive structures.
