Matti K.

Matti K. is a Trade Finance Specialist at Outokumpu since January 2023, managing foreign trade transaction administration within the Documentary Credit team. Previous experience includes a Schuman Traineeship at the European Parliament in 2022, contributing to the Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union by preparing files and conducting background research on trade-related negotiations. Matti K. has also held positions as a warehouse packer at Suomen Transval Group Oy and as an accounting trainee at the Municipality of Keminmaa, where responsibilities included managing accounting for a municipal housing cooperative. Military service was completed as an NCO with the Finnish Defence Forces. Matti K. holds a Master’s degree in International Commerce from Korea University (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (2014-2018), complemented by additional studies at Dongseo University and Ajou University.
