Mikko Rajala

Mikko Rajala is an experienced energy procurement and market professional currently serving as the Head of Energy Procurement at Outokumpu since March 2024. Previously, Rajala held the position of Head of Energy Markets at eNordic from April 2022 to November 2023. A significant tenure at Lahti Energia Oy spanned over a decade, during which Rajala occupied multiple director roles related to energy trade and procurement. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Board at LE-Sähköverkko Oy and board member positions at EPV Energia Oy and POLA Energy Assets Oy. Educational qualifications include an Executive Master of Business Administration from Aalto University and a Master of Science in Energy Technology and Economics from LUT University. Rajala also completed training at the Reserve Officer School.
